Essential oils are distilled from the leaves, roots, bark, and other aromatic portions of a plant. When these oils evaporate, they have a concentrated aroma. Care must be taken to avoid reactions to the concentrated scents. Fixed oils are pressed from the fatty portions of a plant or botanical, such as the seeds, nuts, or kernels, and can be blended to provide unique fragrances such as Bamboo and Teak or Earth and Water. 

On average one bar of our soap will last 4-6 weeks when used daily.

When you light a candle, and the wooden wicks always take an extra few seconds the first time, you need to let the liquid wax grow to the edge of the candle. It has a “memory” and if you stop the burn before it reaches the edge, it will always burn down from there. Worse, if you do this consistently, the wax will form a cone and eventually the wick runs out of oxygen. If you let it burn to the edge, it will burn straight down and you will get the maximum time from the candle.

No. We put a small amount of a coconut oil derivative in each bath bomb to prevent the courant from staining the tub. 

Our candles have a burn time of 50 to 60 hours.
