Get to know us and our story

All our soaps are made using a variety of natural oils. Our body soap is made with either pure Olive Oil or Canola oil (all Canadian product), Coconut oil, Grapeseed Oil (for its high temperature qualities, needed when making the soap), and sustainable Palm oil. We use lye and water to create the base (and yes, lye is a natural product) along with a variety of cosmetic grade colorants and scented oils - some are essential oils, but care must be used with these as they can create allergic reactions if sensitive. Once made, the soap is hand cut, then cured (allowed to dry) for 3-4 weeks before being hand labelled and sold. This allows the soap to last as long as possible, even in the shower. Our Tattoo Care kits use Unscented and uncolored soap with the same natural ingredients as above, to ensure no reactions while cleaning the sensitive area of a new tattoo or piercing.

Our Face Bars use the same Coconut, Grapeseed, Palm and Canola oils as in our body soap plus we add Castor oil. The next magic ingredient is Tamanu oil which is a natural repair and restorative oil used for centuries to aid in healing. Then we add black activated Bamboo charcoal powder for cleansing. We then put a small drop of Spearmint oil in for a pleasant scent. The result is a long lasting and natural facial cleanser that also helps repair any oily or blemish prone skin.

Our Hair bars use the same base as the body soap plus we add Castor oil to aid in extra lathering for the hair. We use no colorants and only add Tea Tree oil which is known for its scalp cleansing.

Our 10oz candles are made with 100% pure premium soy wax, to which we add a small amount of wax friendly scent. We use a natural wooden crackling wick for a slow burn rate allowing for 40-50 hours of enjoyable usage. We remind all our customers that wooden wicks may require a few seconds longer when lighting to ensure the full wick is lit. Also remember allow the candle to burn to a full pool, to maximize the candle life.

All our bath bombs - plain, Bling, Mine or Pokebomb - are made with baking soda, Citric Acid, corn starch and a small amount of witch hazel. A small amount of cosmetic grade scent and colorants are used to ensure a safe yet enjoyable bath experience. A tiny amount of coconut oil is also added purely to prevent the color from creating a "ring" in the tub. As well, the Pokebombs have small Pokemon figures inside, the Minebombs have small Minecraft figures inside and the Bling bombs have a small necklace (shrink wrapped) inside.

Our Wellness butter is made with Shea butter (whipped until creamy), Kaolin clay (to help the butter absorb quickly into the skin), Calendula oil, Evening Primrose oil and Arrowroot powder. The last three ingredients are to naturally reduce inflammation and encourage healing. We also add a tiny amount of colorant and one of several cosmetic grade fragrance oils (the same as our body soaps). Then they are packed down to eliminate air bubbles and poured into a purse resistant container. For the Tattoo Care kits, we use the same ingredients as above but no colorants or scents - to ensure no reaction while helping moisturize the new tattoo area.
